Gotcha

Its not often that another Photog gets gotten!  We photogs try to stay BEHIND the lens.  Atleast I know that I do! 

Well, I just couldn’t resist trying to grab Courtney’s big smile (Courtney Craver Photography).  She is such a bubbly photographer and a wonderful person to be around!  I truly enjoyed working with her on Saturday and was so impressed at how talented she is!

A Rainy Day Sunshine Bride

I had the honor of driving to Pensacola on Saturday in the worst weather possible.  It made the normal long drive – well, long!!!!

But this bride & groom – well they were the sunshine in a gloomy day.  This couple was so cool – no worries, just happy to be there and be part of it all.  It was so much fun to photograph them and their very large wedding party (30+ in the party). 

The rain stopped just before the wedding and we were able to catch a few pictures outside.  This is my favorite of the day – the sun sneaking out just long enough to get a picture.

Wow . . .

Well, it seems that I haven’t updated my blog in a looooooong time.  Geesh.  That is on my to do list this week.  I have been working hard at a lot of different things.  First of which I purchased a new camera.  Yeah!!  I have been working on a new fresh looking logo and website.  It really is a work of heart because I wanted a logo and a website that really represented me and who I am as a photographer.  So I guess because of that, I can’t just go out an purchase a template and make it mine.  The downfall of that is that it is taking me a bit longer to get it ready.  I have the design ready to go I just need to get my images uploaded and my goal it to have it live by the 8th of April. 

Wedding season is just kicking off and I am already booked with many dates!  That is exciting and I can’t wait to post some images from my latest wedding.  I assisted another photographer on it – but it was still fun.  Anytime I can get behind the camera is a good time! 

So…keep checking back as there will be many updates in the coming days and weeks and some real exciting things to welcome in my new website and logo!!

A view of space

My 9 year old and I camped out the other night to watch the eclipse.  It was a beautiful night here on the water watching the moon.  Took a ton of pictures and thought I’d share a few with ya.   Enjoy

A few from today . . .brrr its cold out

Here is a few from today.  A few very crazy girls joined me and tried not to freeze downtown for some shoots.  It was great fun trying to stay warm!

Change is good . . .

A lot has been going on here.  Many changes!!  All good.  I am trying to get the word out there for models!!  Yep, I am calling all beautiful people – here is your chance!!  I need to update my portfolio and need fresh faces for my website that is under construction.  So if you know of anyone who might want to grab a free session and be included in advertising and my website, email me!!!

I am also proud to say that I am going to be a new associate photographer for Courtner Craver Photography.  They are all weddings in the Panhandle area.  It will be a fantastic opportunity to get some more weddings under my belt and I think it will be a great learning experience.  So keep posted for more information on that.

I finally got my 52 weeks of Photos up.  I am a bit behind in posting my new images – so I promise to catch up this week.

Hopefully by the end of the month I will have my new flash website up and running.  Once I do I will announce some incredible specials!!!  Check back for more!!
